This course is for learners who do not want PLC and SCADA as separate subjects. It follows one tag from field input through PLC logic into HMI/SCADA alarms and trends, then into communication and reporting interfaces. The emphasis is system integration: correct PLC data structures, predictable operator behavior, diagnostic visibility and a project that can be commissioned end to end.
S7 hardware, tags, data types, OB/FC/FB/DB, sequences, analog scaling and diagnostics.
Communication, tag mapping, screens, alarms, trends, recipes, security and I/O/device status.
PROFINET devices, remote I/O, VFD integration, OPC UA exposure and communication troubleshooting.
Manual/auto modes, interlocks, alarm matrix, startup checks, backups, documentation and handover.
Choose only the level required for your current role, or combine levels for a complete progression. Confirm the current batch timing, fee, software version and practical support before enrolment.

Develop a complete automation cell with remote I/O or VFD, PLC sequence, HMI/SCADA screens, alarms, trend, recipe/security features and an OPC UA-ready tag structure. Commission it using an I/O checklist, interlock matrix, network-status page and documented fault-recovery procedure.

For the complete four-level Softwell program, use the main Industrial Automation Training page. This page stays focused on Online Siemens PLC SCADA Training.
Start with a field signal, define it in PLC tags, use it in sequence logic, expose it to HMI/SCADA, create alarm/trend behavior and keep the same engineering meaning if the tag later enters OPC UA or SQL.
Commission the project in layers—field I/O, PLC manual mode, device communication, automatic sequence, HMI/SCADA, alarms/trends and finally external data interfaces.
Produce backups, network/device documentation, alarm lists, interlock matrices and recovery notes so the project can be supported by another engineer after commissioning.
Assessment is based on engineering evidence rather than screen screenshots alone. The learner should be able to explain the tag path, configuration choices, fault conditions and commissioning sequence for the project.
Hardware/software configuration, tag structure and documented parameters.
Online status, diagnostics, alarms/trends or device feedback relevant to this course.
A repeatable method for finding and correcting at least one realistic fault.
Follow the complete data path: sensor/device → PLC address → program block → communication connection → HMI/SCADA tag → object/alarm/trend. If a value is missing at one layer, stop there and fix that layer before changing downstream configuration. This method makes integration faults much faster to isolate.
The subject is taught as an engineering workflow with configuration, practical operation, diagnostics and documentation. Learners can connect the focused skill to broader Softwell modules later without repeating the same generic syllabus on every page.
Because real commissioning problems cross both layers. A correct PLC tag must also communicate, display, alarm and trend correctly.
Yes. PLC-only training goes deeper into controller logic; this page emphasizes end-to-end integration and system commissioning.
OPC UA is introduced as an external integration layer after the PLC and HMI/SCADA tag structure is stable.
I/O status, manual device commands, interlocks, network/device health and HMI feedback should be proven first.
An integrated PLC-SCADA project with alarms, trends, device/network diagnostics and commissioning/handover documentation.
